This is a fabulous, unique, handcrafted cloak, made by Carol. The cloak features a block printed celtic triangle border.This is a medium weight, half circle, unlined, hooded cloak suitable for outdoor wear in Spring/Autumn/mild Winter. It is made from and polyester/fleece fabric. The fleece gives this cloak a lovely wrmth and comfort facter..Because this cloak is designed for very small children it fastens with a press stud.
This cloak is unisex and designed to fit a child from age18months to 4 years.
From front neck to hem, the length is 22 inches (66cm). From back neck to hem the length is 22inches (66cm).
Full washing instructions are provided with each cloak. This particular cloak needs a cool 20 wash and warm tumble or line dry. It can be ironed on a low synthetic setting on the inside.
Symbology
Cloaks and robes are often worn for ritual celebrations. Perhaps this hearkens back to a time when people had to be more secretive and a dark cloak could help conceal your identity as well as keep you warm.
