Description
This is a beautiful pendant, in pentacle design, made by Morganna. Its hung on a multiple cord consisting of different textures, fibres and colours.
All of Morganna's necklaces are completely unique. The pendant features a sterling silver pentacle which measures 2cm (1ins) in diameter. The cords which have been gathered to embody the colours which represent a persons chakras are 55cm (21 ins) in length, The cords fasten with a sturdy silver lobster claw catch. They come in a black, pillow shaped gift box.
Morganna aims to design fashionable handcrafted jewellery, with a pagan theme.
Symbology
Chakras are energy centres which run through your body down the length of your spinal cord. Each chakra is said to represent a different area within your life, for example your third eye helps you to see spirit and use psycic abilities.
All the Chakras have a colour of their own:
- The crown chakra which is just above the top of your head is associated with the colour violet.
- The third eye chakra which is above your eyes in the middle of your forehead is indigo.
- The Throat chakra situated where a mans adams apple would be, is light blue.
- The heart chakra is green,
- The solar plexus which is in the pit of your stomach is yellow,
- The abdomen chakra orange.
- Then finally your base chakra, at the bottom of your spine is red.
The colour scheme for this particular necklace is very vibrant, and by wearing all the colours of the chakra you are embracing every one of them.
